Clearly there is a need for study sessions for the ANCC certification and support for those considering taking the exam. I am planning to take the exam soon and took the WINI class in Nebraska, it was a great session and an ideal way to meet informatics colleagues in the area. I would support MINING in an effort to bring a WINI class to Minnesota.

I agree that MINING needs to find ways to encourage members to become ANCC certified. Also, seems like people are interested and would attend if board meetings were accessible through Live Meeting, due to the inconvenience of location or timing of the meetings.

Lynn - can I ask when you took the class in Nebraska, how long was it and how much did it cost? Where the instructors nationally known, or local. Do you think members would accept local instructors?
