HEALTHCARE LEADERS

The University of Minnesota School of Nursing is now offering online continuing education modules to prepare the healthcare workforce about the use of health information technology (HIT). These online modules will integrate principles from information, cognitive, and computer sciences along with practical application in health care. Major emphasis will be on what nursing and other health care leaders need to know to adopt, implement, and effectively use HIT for improving patient safety, quality, and efficient healthcare. These modules are targeted to health care leaders, providers, educators, informaticians, and students.
